The Fundraising Life

Hey there! I'm Ashlee - a 25 year old fundraising professional with 4 and a half years of fund development experience. As you read through my blogs, I'm sure you'll get a taste of my personality, but for those of you who want to know a litte bit about me now, here you go:

 

• I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of Calgary in 2010.
   

• I love innovation! I find it exhilarating and refreshing to find a new strategy or approach to tasks and projects.
   

• I'm always exploring blogs, newsletters, TedTalks, webinars, textbooks ... the list could go on. This is the best way to stay current, fresh, and energized.
   

• I'm a list maker. I can't help it - I make lists for my day, for my week, before starting a project, before an event, etc. If I do a task that wasn't on a list, I write it down after just so I can have the satisfaction of crossing it off.
   

• I love to make people laugh. In my office, I have a Laugh Wall where staff can post something funny to share with their co-workers. Life is a lot more fun when you're happy.
